Country
Tuvalu
Tuvalu remains a genuine Honey Chronicles research gap. Its coral-atoll agriculture is constrained by shallow alkaline soils, saltwater intrusion, limited fresh water and very small land area. The national biodiversity report recognizes bees among a broad suite of pollinators, but the official agriculture and trade sources reviewed here do not establish managed honey-bee colonies, honey production, a commercial beekeeper or a Honey Region. HC therefore preserves pollination as a real ecological relationship while refusing to turn 'bees are present' into 'Tuvalu has a honey industry.'
