Taking shape TJ / TJK Asia

Tajikistan's beekeeping story is a mountain-livelihood story more than a finished map of named honey terroirs. Gorno-Badakhshan has strong documented honey potential and producer groups in Roshtqala and Shugnan, while national development programs have supported beekeeping families in several other districts. Older national figures cited 237,000 hives and about 4,200 tonnes of honey, but those 2021 numbers are retained only as historical context. Central Asian bee-lineage research makes Apis mellifera pomonella an important lead, not a safe national label.
