Singapore's honey story is urban, rescue-driven and species-rich rather than agricultural at national scale. NParks identifies the Asian honey bee Apis cerana as Singapore's most common honey bee and Tetragonula laeviceps as its most common stingless bee. Small urban apiaries relocate colonies from buildings and gardens, and at least one current operator sells honey produced by rescued local colonies. The city-state is therefore best treated as an urban Bee-and-honey research network rather than divided into conventional Honey Regions.

A producer's location tells us where they work. It does not automatically tell us where a product was harvested.
