Country
Myanmar
Myanmar has one of Southeast Asia's more diverse honey systems, combining migratory commercial Apis mellifera beekeeping with traditional Apis cerana management and wild honey from Apis dorsata, Apis laboriosa and Apis florea. Government reporting in March 2026 put annual production near 7,000 tonnes. Jujube honey dominates commercial output, while sunflower, niger, sesame and rubber honeys follow different crop and landscape zones.
